Hello Sunshine! There is so much going on during the holiday season. We really need to take some time to spend with our friends.
I had a little brunch with my girlfriends for a gift exchange. Nothing fancy. We just had a little crudités of fruits, veggies, gingerbread and biscuits. I had purchased these cute potted cactus rose from Trader Joe’s to give as favors for my girlfriends and I placed them in little pottery that I purchased at a bargain discount at Michaels a while back for under $2. I knew I would find something to use them for! It was just a little something for us to get away from all of the shopping and spend time together.
After we had girl time, The Hubby and I had a Date Night planned. We had been wanting to see this movie, Whiplash. I am so glad we kept with our commitment. If you are music fans like we are, you really should see this movie. It is more of a Jazz music movie, but you really do not have to like Jazz so much, just really appreciate music. We had such a nice date as we usually do when we see a movie. We love to see a movie at Violet Crown & I must get the Brussels Sprouts, sans the bacon since I am a vegetarian. We usually go for an after movie snack somewhere and ‘break down’ the movie. We really enjoyed this one & I do hope you take your loved one to see Whiplash. I always believe in dating your husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, son, daughter, mom or dad or anyone! Just date each other, keep conversation going and enjoying fun times together. Making memories is the best! We can usually relate to music and this movie is a great way to do that. Let me know if you have seen this or if you do go on a date to see the movie.
Lots of love,
